The main task of this unit is based on monitoring all violations and abuses of human rights, in the area of ​​freedom of individuals and groups and in the field of ​​public freedoms. The Unit examines all complaints received by the Unit of Complaints, follows them -up, studies them and take all the necessary measures to settle problems and grievances placed on the claimant. The Unit also follows up all complaints submitted by specialized bodies or authorities.
The Unit issues regular reports, daily bulletins and periodic and annual reports on all human rights violations, makes field and inspection visits and organizes awareness lectures to monitor human rights abuses in all areas. It also monitors all acts of offense in the community especially in jails, detention centers, universities, schools public and private institutions, and addresses all concerned bodies in this regard according to their specialty domain.
